I am doing great with mine. I won't replace it until I move to new GPU's, which will be Q1 2012.

I probably won't get rid of it though. I'll just move it to another task.

I love AMD but don't love there chips anymore sandy bridge berries AMD not just as the previous gen did in performance but now at price point as well 5.2Ghz overclock on air cooling 4.8Ghz everyday overclock with that 4.8 Ghz giving you lot more bang than AMD's offerings, I love AMD and i wish i had the stones to cut down on performance for something I believe in. but i dont and yes you may bleet but AMD has 6 cores for PC gaming that means nothing and for applications that actually use it Intel still leaves all AMD's offerings in the dust by a good 20% - 30 %... you guys are awesome for sticking with AMD but don't brag about speed brag about the fact that your sticking with the better man because AMD doesn't change its sockets every year or sometimes even more.

Oh and I say 4.8 Ghz everyday overclock because to run at 5.2 you have to pumping 1.6v though a chip that at stock runs with crazy voltage but it stable and only runs a 80C but my sanity kicked in and i put it down to 4.8

I really am starting to wonder what ivy bridge is going to be like

also for gaming there is no need to overclock the 2500k no need what do ever youll struggle to get any game to 20% usage its basically only for benchmarks that you will wanna overclock it and heavy duty software
