[Rogers]How exactly does this work?

Thread Starter
I recently turned 18 and i wanted to get a new phone under my name. I just called rogers and asked them, if i was to buy the iphone from them, how much will my first bill will be. They responded with telling me its gonna be $50 for the first bill.

Now for my question, if I get the iPhone 4s will I be paying $250+ or $50?

You buy the phone at a reduced price under contract (usually 2yrs). So if the Phone says $250 w/ 2yr Agreement, you'll pay $300 total. $250 up front for the phone, and $50 a month later when billing has started.

$200 for the phone, $50 on your first bill.

You will pay for the phone, and then you will likely end up paying for the month after your first month of usage. You also may have to pay a deposit.(At least that's what happens with sprint and some other carriers here.)
