Cheaper alternative to the AP14s?

I'm going to be going watercooling soon, but the Gentle Typhoons are so pricey. I know I can go the Yate Loon route, but the mediums are kinda loud for me at 12V. I have a fan controller and have to turn them all the way down most of the time. Would the Yate Loon low speed fans be adequate to cool in a push/pull config?

Well anyways, if yall could leave some suggestions then that would be great.

they should be fine if you use the RX rad over the RS. RX rads are made for low RPM fans...perfect solution for what you need

I plan on getting the RX240 or something along those lines. It all depends on my budget. I really don't want to spend $80 on 4 fans though. Haha

One of the reasons the GT's have been so popular is that they are extremely good for their price. The next step up at the 120x25mm size is a San Ace Silent, but those are $22+ apiece, you have to put on your own plugs, and as seven-blade fans they sing rather than hiss.

You can get more expensive fans than that, but not really any better.

Aw man, I was going to pull the trigger on it, but I didn't realize that they were shipping from the UK. Shipping is $18.

How are the AP15s on noise compared to the AP14s? I've only heard AP14s before.
