New CPU vs SSD

Thread Starter
Hey all, I was just wondering if I should get a SSD or the new 8 core Bulldozer. I currently have a normal HDD and a 1090t OC@4ghz. Which would add a more overall performance benefit? I'm kinda guessing the SSD, but not sure. Thanks
post #2 of 25
SSD.

Bulldozer is pretty much a fail and not worth the money. You would benefit more and enjoy an SSD more.

Bulldozer isn't much of an upgrade over a phenom x6. I'd go with the ssd
post #6 of 25
I'd take an SSD > 2600k anyways. Much more noticeable difference in much more of my computer use.

SSD for the win!

I'd get one of those cheezy mouse pads that you can put pictures of your cat in before I bought a bulldozer.

Bulldozer would be a pretty significant upgrade for you even if it is lacking in performance atm lol.

Bulldozer is not worth the upgrade.
Promotion from 2010...invalid?

OP, go SSD, it's going to be far more noticeable than a CPU upgrade.
