Black Stuff in my new Raystorm

Thread Starter
I recently decided to go with watercooling for my 2600k. and i recieved all my parts andd began leak testing it. After i finished leak testing it, i drained the loops and saw black stuff in my waterblock, raystorm. is that normal ?

did you flush the rad when you got it?

Eww. hope that isnt rust or corrosion.

Can you open it up without breaking any warranties?

Did you flush out all of the components before putting the loop together? If not then it's most likely residue from manufacturing. There is always some gunk or something left in the rads and blocks.

Edit: ninja'ed while posting.

Have you got a can of Dust-Off? If you think it's water droplets just give it a blowing out.
