yeah, looks like I'm stuck with AMD for now, maybe on black Friday If I have the money then to buy an intel board? that Might be a good idea
But I'm not sure,I spent 150 on this board and I'd be pretty much throwing away money If I bought an intel board, then again, im still pretty early on in my build so we'll see

You may want to do a little Googling, last thing I read was that the Asus BIOS were not playing well with Dozer, I am not an AMD fanboy but since you are not fully ready just yet maybe wait a couple days and see were all the Bovine fecal matter lands

Obviously you should have waited to read the review before buying the wrong thing, but now that you have, do you really need to switch? Reviews are nice and all, but only you can be the judge of how well something works for you. Are you using every last drop of power that chip puts out? If not, and you don't just have to shave that second off whatever you are doing, you probably won't gain anything by switching.

If you absolutely must switch to a different chip, I'd just recommend getting a Phenom since it will work with your current board, which will save you money. Otherwise, you might as well wait for Ivy Bridge.

thank you for those words,I might as well wait for ivy and use AMD now while I have the board, I don't want to waste money either.

The 960t looks like a good CPU to get, It's in my budget and I can unlock it to a 6 core and OC it to fit my needs, thanks for the help guys
