Quote:
The flooding, caused by heavy monsoon rains, has killed more than 200 people in Thailand since mid-summer, and several industries with manufacturing facilities in the country have temporarily suspended operations there. The floods come on top of the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear reaction disaster in Japan that also affected some tech operations earlier this year.

ON Semiconductor Corp. ONNN +8.10% said late Tuesday that it has shut down its Sanyo Semiconductor division facilities in Ayutthaya, Thailand due to the flooding. The division is responsible for testing and assembling of semiconductor wafers and accounts for between 5% and 10% of ON’s total revenue, which came to $905.8 million in the company’s fiscal second quarter thjs year.

I got a little confused glancing at the title, I didn't know that hard drives grew on plants.

But really, I wouldn't worry about it. They said electronic prices would go up with the Japan Nuclear disaster, but it had no noticable effect.

Pick one article and quote it. Affecting.*

Hopefully this won't turn into another crisis like Japan's earthquakes and completely stop production.
