P5N-E SLI vdroop mod help

Thread Starter
Ive had my P5N-E sli board for some time now, and i noticed that the vdroop is horrendous at times. I have the bios set for 1.36v. At idle it sits a little higher at 1.378v. During an IBT run, the voltage drops as far as 1.328v, a .05v drop. I am going to mod my board so this is no longer an issue, but i dont want to overdo it and fry my processor.

I have pulled the board, and in looking about here on OCN, found the image saying add a 1M ohm VR on the indicated component. I understand that people have done a simple pencil mod to make this work. My question is, what resistance value am i aiming for during this pencil mod?

I do have a multimeter (i have 2 actually), and the measured resistance across the component indicated in the aforementioned image is 130.3 kohms. What am i aiming for in the end?

EDIT: NVM, i just applied the mod and tested it. Managed to completely eliminate the vdroop. Now i can either safely lower the vcore OR attempt that 400x10 overclock ive been wanting to do
