Use DRAM voltage and Timings to spec leave the divider on auto or 1333mhz until you are stable than simply bring the divider to spec. By spec i mean what it says on the ram modules.

Leave dram voltage alone. And it's not stable unless it's using a lot of memory and processing. That is why it is called a stress test . Could you provide us/me with a link to the specific Ram you purchase. Also, are you running them in DIMM2/4?

Running them in DIMMs 2 & 4. Using this RAM.

I bumped the vcore up to 1.325V (I think). IBT is running 50 cycles at the max amount of RAM. No issues yet.

Prime failed at 1.320V when I ran this torture test (1792 FFT) for 30 minutes. Glad that I kept running; otherwise I would have called that stable.

Okay, for that ram you should be sitting at 1.5 DRAM voltage, make sure you set that in manually and also set the TIMINGS to 9-9-9-24 also manually leave the divider at Auto or 1333MHz until we see what your processor can do then we will proceed to get that up to rated speed of 1600MHz and finally set up that Offset Voltage. IBT is good but, I've seen people pass prime95 without problems and fail on IBT or Pass IBT and fail on prime95. Try running those two fft's on prime for 20 minutes each if stable do 20 passes of IBT on maximum ram if both pass it should be fairly stable then you could go to prime95 on blend for a couple hours just to be 100% sure you are stable.

I have never passed IBT and passed prime Just my 2 cents. And what he said about the timings Beat me to it. And try running 9-9-9-24-1T for your timing.

I also had trouble passing IBT when I first got this CPU. I was going nuts trying to find out what was wrong. I figured it was my ram, so tested it with my friends ripjaws and it pased RMA'd my patriot ram and ever since I got them back I've had no problem passing anything

I just passed 50 cycles of IBT. Going to run another 12hour prime95 to make sure everything is good.

EDIT: If I can pass both, then I am pretty sure that it's stable. I'll do the offset in the morning.

Sounds good!

10 hours into prime with no errors. I think I have a stable overclock! YAYAYAYAYAY!!!!!

Alright. To do the offset, I need to look at my VID through RealTemp, then look at the Vcore in CPU-Z. If I subtract the Vcore from the VID, I'll end up with my Offset and the sign (positive if VID>Vcore, negative if VID<Vcore). Someone check me on this.

I think its subtract VID from vcore. But I may be mistake as well. For example: I wanted a 1.406vcore, and I am using a .020+ offset. My VID is 1.38xx.
