Change 6950 Heatsink

Thread Starter
I was wondering if it is possible to change out the Asus 6950 stock heatsink to an aftermarket solution. I currently run an H80 on my i7 2600k and was wondering if an h80 would work on the 6950? Has anyone tried this or seen a post where a h80/h100 was used?

I have seen it done but its a bit getto for my liking, you can go for a small loop for it and it would only set ou back about $120 maybe for a pump rx120 or standard 240, pump and (core block(cheaper) or full cover(+$50).

I want to take off the stock cooler to see if the H80 will fit...I wonder if I will have trouble re-attaching?
