Yeah the cables are going to get sorted. Need an adapter to lengthen the 12v one to the top of the mobo also just a good tidy up now everything is in place. I wanted to make sure that everything worked before letting my OCD kick into play.

Single gpu wont kill you for a couple of days besides you should be able to play anything without any problem that is currently out. Your front panel coloured cables could be tucked round the back and brought back through the bottom slot under the Mb other than that looking good.

No it won't kill me but I just wanted to get it running. NEver put a system like this together myself and am itching to see its full potential. Ive got an SLI gtx 260m setup in my laptop which was and to a point still is quite impressive but still I'll just have to wait unless I can find a bridge tomorrow. I have rung around every pc shop within a 50 mile radius to try find one but most of them dont even know what Im going on about and the other half dont stock them, it doesnt bode well.

Nice rig you got there.
I just noticed you have 3 sticks of ram. It might be a good idea to get 1 more to run them all dual channel.
And clean up that mess you made there. Eps cable can go under the mobo with a little ingenuity. You might just get away without an extension.

I did think 4 sticks but was told 16gb was overkill by a few people that know more than me about building computers. I did think take one out and run 8gb instead. I was going to try run tests with 8 and then with 12. The eps cable? is that the 12v one thats runs to the top?

And yes Sir! I will clean up the mess haha!

Simmer down now I believe the only place to put the mass of cords for the case is behind the optical bays. With all the stuff I have in mine it tough enough just to get the panel on lol

Most people will say 4gb is more than enough.
But still you would be better running your ram in dual channel mode.
Im not entirely sure thats called eps now. But yeah, that's the one i'm referring to. That can go under your mobo just keep it away from screws so you dont accidentally strip them.

I shall take a stick out then rather than get another one. Is it correct that you should really get your ram all in one kit so they are timed together? Sorry if this is a daft question to you guys but as said I'm new to all this malarkey.

You already have the ram so just leave it there rather than taking it out. You mobo will map its usage so it uses dual channel first. If it uses that up it then will use the remaining ram in single channel mode. If you can get one more stick great.

Not entirely true. Just make sure you get the same exact ram.(model, size, timings, voltage)
Like say buying 2 kits of 8gb (same exact kit) instead of Buying 1 kit of 16gb.

Ah ok I didn't know if it would have a negative impact having three rather than two. Im still learning and there is certainly a lot to take in! I could get another stick but it will be a squeeze with the cooler, I didnt realise how big it would be in all its glory!

edit *have found a single 4gb stick on ebay so shall grab that and make it 16gb instead.*
