I did a bunch of research before I upgraded the HD on my ps3. Every where I read basically said there was no point in using an ssd because the Blu-ray drive was the limiting factor. A 7200rpm drive seems to be the best price/performance ratio, so I went with a WD Black 500gig for $60 a year ago.
I only paid $75 for the SSD, so at least I won't feel ripped off
I can always rip it out and put it into Comp2 and replace it with a big 7200 rpmer or something. Who knows, maybe it'll work better now that we've had 10 million patches since that review
At least we'll know for sure shortly because I won't sugar coat the results
If it's a total waste, I'll be the first to admit it!
