for 6950 CF, just did a quick check around fo any last minute sales in CANADA, and for my budget and wanting 80+silver and they are $5 apart

http://www.directcanada.com/products/?sku=22170AC0247&vpn=ST75F-P&manufacture=Silverstone%20Technology
silverstone is fully modular, but has lower rated 85C caps, probably quieter

http://www.directcanada.com/products/?sku=15180AC1911&vpn=P1750BNLG9&manufacture=XFX
xfx is seasonic, almost fully modular which is fine, $5 less and has 105C rated caps, the 12V regulation on the lesser XFX pro750W core edtion beat the silverstone, so I hope/assume the higher end XXX edition above does the same

so right now about to order the XFX

Either is perfectly fine, and will handle dual 6950s with plenty to spare. Get whichever one you prefer.

Great choices, if only every visitor to this part of the forum was as well educated biggrin.gif

I would go with the SS because i've had many problems with RMA with XFX. It is an entire dog and poney show to get anything from them.

The Strider Plus 750 is Enhance and is an excellent PSU, you can't go wrong with either, pick the one you like most.
