Someone asked about this monitor in another thread, so I thought I would post a quick review. I don't have any professional measurement equipment, so much of this is subjective. I also don't care for 3D, so I won't be commenting much on that.

Pros
-no obvious backlight bleeding (if I squint my eyes, I might see something extremely minor at the top of the display, but then I begin to think I’m going crazy)
-good backlight uniformity
-very good black levels for an LCD
-white is very white
-matte coating eliminates reflections but there is no noticeable sparkle effect (I never realized how aggressive the coating was on my Gateway FPD2185W until I got this monitor)
-I haven’t noticed any input lag or ghosting
-viewing angles are very decent for a TN panel and only really become a problem at moderate vertical angles, although I haven't found myself adjusting the tilt at all like I constantly do with many other TN panels
-I originally thought 1080p would be too low of a resolution for a 27" monitor, but in practice I find it very comfortable to use
-monitor gets extremely bright (I currently have the brightness set at 15 out of 100 for general use)
-monitor does not get very warm
-dual link dvi, three HDMI 1.4 ports, and VESA mounting
-IR emitter integrated into LCD if you’re interested in 3D; unlike the upcoming Asus VG278H, the emitter is inconspicuous (I’m not even sure where it is)
-monitor has speakers if you're in to that sort of the thing, but I didn't bother testing them

Cons
-colors are not great out of the box, but are significantly improved with calibration (I used a Spyder 2 Express); on the flipside the colors aren’t terribly inaccurate and there is no noticeable shift in any direction, but it just doesn’t look as vibrant as an IPS display
-doesn't have many features like a USB hub, and the stand only offers tilt (I don't use the stand though)
-controls could be better; changing the brightness takes something like 5 steps
-controls are also capacitive, which may bother some (although it doesn’t bother me much at all)
-bezel is reflective
-two of the HDMI ports are on the side, so cords will be visible if you connect more than one HDMI device
-cannot be purchased without 3D glasses

Overall, I am very happy with this monitor. Originally I was planning on only using it as a secondary/gaming display, but after a few days I decided I’m going to use it as my primary display! Let me know if you have any questions!
