BlueCooler - 800D

So as some of you know ive had to RMA a few things this past week. Its giving me time off from actually being able to use the computer so i figured why not do some modding!!

Ive seen some beautiful 800D mods but i would like to try and make one my own.

Funds wise id like to use what i already have and only purchase what is REALLY necessary Basically im working with whats in my sig rig.

My plan is to get the 480 up top and ill be making my own rad grill for that. The 360 will end up at the bottom and ill be modding the side panel with the window to get airflow to the rad.

Heres a couple before RMA shot

Took the rig apart.

wow, subbed.
My only thing to contribute would be get as much in the case as you can, i am restricted in space myself so a rad/fans like yours on the outside in the pic would not suit me. So see what you can shuffle round to get in the case.

Colors black and blue= very elegant.

I am starting to think i am the only one to have a stock 800D on this site.

Not sure if you noticed but one of your pics is pretty revealing ,of some of your details. Might wanna cover that up, unless you dont care of course.

You could do some window etching, get a custom backplate for your card and paint the motherboard block purlple.

i like the backplate idea, ive already had the EK backplate in mind, it just came out. Im also thinking of getting an EK cpu block, kinda just continue the whole EK theme.

Mount the 360 in the top and mod the bottom to be like the TJ07 where you can mount it on it's side? With a single card though, the 480 will perfectly fine.

Made a small purchase yesterday, picked up a nice thin sheet of steel to make my own rad grills, one for the Rx480 up top and one for the RS360 at the bottom. To give it a finished look i got 7 of these. I got a template to cut out the grill here.

Heres the layout for the 480 rad

now its time for some dremel action
