That sucked. Not 30 seconds after you messaged me I crashed..haha. I jerry rigged a second Corsair fan onto my cooler. I was only at 57c. But I figured since I was already crashed. Might as well take the few extra minutes to boost the cooling..haha
post #23 of 27
57c is still kinda warm for a deneb chip..it's better to keep it under 55...it can crash from heat @ 57c.....

62c is the recommended max temp. 57c is well within the margin of safety.

I just crashed at 48c anyways. So temp aint the issue. I increased my NB freq from 2000 to 2200 and up'd the Volts from 0.800 to 1.100v. I can't seem to stabilize this damn thing on the new BOIS.

Been at this 4 hours..I'm pretty much done for the night. Last test..

I went from NB Freq 2200 to 1800 instead. See if lower helps. Volts stayed the same. Increased Vcore to 1.488 up from 1.466

Well, she's still hanging on. 4.0Ghz @ 1.464v X20 multi, bus 200.7, HT link 1806.1, NB volts are 1.100V upped from .800 a few tests ago. Looking good so far. 50c Stable.

I noticed I set my memory for 1600. But my CPU-Z is reading it at 800...Did something go wrong?
