Corsair Speakers 2.1 any good?

Thread Starter
Thinking about picking up the corsair 2.1 speakers at Frys today for $80. My current logitech 2.1 Z313 are not sounding too well. These would be used for gaming BF3 etc and watching vids from youtube and some movies from netflixs.

Thanks

Maximum PC did a review on the Corsairs awhile back and they are supposedly really good for their price point.

I had some logitech Z series peakers (5.1) and they were awesome. Lasted for a couple of years (died a week ago) with heavy use.

You probably had the old Z5500s, correct? The Z623s don't even compare to the Z2300s they succeeded, let alone the Z25500s.

I did get them. Not impressed yet. But it could also be that I am using on board sound. I just sold my pci express xfi card and got one of those xfi hd sound cards coming next week. I actually bought it from a member on here. I'm hoping that makes the corsair speakers sound better :-)
