Just a small update to whoever finds this thread in their troubles and this works. If you boot up the next morning and find that 1 computer cannot find the other computers network then this worked for me.

PC1 couldn't detect PC2 but PC2 could detect PC1 and access its share folder. I went to PC2 and took the url for the network which came out like this - \\\\PC2-PC\\share Copied and pasted on PC1 and it took me to \\\\PC2-PC\\share even though the network was not shown for PC2.
I then put in \\\\PC2-PC and right clicked Share and hit "map shared drive" to any letter you want. Now its in Computer and so far been able to access without problems.

For anyone curious it took me a hour or so of toying to figure that gem out....sad I know
