Finally! New and shiny PSU!

Just got a OCZ Z-Series Gold 850W. It was the best I could find. Trust me. I really wanted a Corsair HX/AX, or SuperFlower, Seasonic etc but at over 800-850w and Gold(I run 24/7) with good quality, I couldn't do any better price wise.

It will power up the below rig.

2600K@4.3
Antec 620
ASUS Z68 (Have not decided)
2x GTX 570 heavily or GTX 580 moderately OCed
2x4GB G.Skill RJ-X 1600Mhz CL8
2xHDD: Seagate 320 7200rpm 16mb and Hitachi 5k30002TB
Crucial m4 128GB
HAF 922 All fan slots used(2xScythe S-FLEXs)
A few other USB devices

The reason I ask is because besides the loose connector pins, I have read about high -12v(100+). Should those pose any concerns I should know? Should I check anything before I plug it in my current rig(besides the connector pins)?

Also going from the below piece of crap psu to the OCZ will I notice any differences? In ANY aspect(besides efficiency)? I know that it's just a psu and won't cure my slight hair loss and cut my body fat down to 5%(14-15% now), but I'm just saying.

I really wanna hear your thoughts on the above. Thanks in advance.

My current rig is this:
E7300@3Ghz(stock cooler)
ASROCK Conroe1333-DVI using this solely because of OCing options(I have another MSI G31M2 V1)
ASUS TOP HD4770 @910/1050
4x1GB Kingston DDR2 800Mhz(@667)
Seagate 320 7200rpm 16mb and Hitachi 5k30002TB
Crucial ordered and arriving shortly.
HAF 922 All fan slots used(2xScythe S-FLEXs)
A few other USB devices

that will even handle 2 580's

you should notice a reduction, temp and noise and clutter in your case

I know. I wish I had the equipment to test its Efficiency/Noise/Ripple/VoltRegul etc. I bet you all we will be amazed. We're talking 80+ Diamond Here! With 98% Eff and perfect regulations.

Although to be honest it served me well so far 2 years with 24/7, intense gaming for hours(over 8-10h/day sometimes) with my OCed Cpu and heavily oced Gpu and with everything else connected. Although both of my Cpu and Gpu are low power ones, it must have been a stress for this PieceOfUtterCrap.

Thank you obsidian86. Can't blame me for expecting miracles because of a new toy. We know it won't allow me to OC the E7300 at 6GHz, but a more stable, cleaner rig until the new one is complete, is more than welcome.

The reviews of my Mobo put it at a maximum FSB of 300 for ocing. I doubt it can handle more than that. Which I what I had the E7300 but wasn't that stable.

I will for sure try again with the OCZ.. I will post my feedback/thoughts, just in case in the future it might help some other forum member or visitor.

Better power means more and better clocks, it means less chance of exploding VRMs on motherboards and GPUs, and generally happy users.
