The problem is that it IS broken. EVERYTIME there's a new update, people complain and complain about how everything is different, how they have to learn the layout for the 6th time in a year, and how they got rid of something. And, it's just boring to people now. If more people transferred over to G+, they'd have something fresh and different. Of course, your opinion may vary from others, but this is how majority of my friends feel. They're just way too lazy to transfer over.
BTW, I have the Timeline Facebook update. And it was cool for 5 minutes. I got to see all of my past statuses from when I was a stupid freshman in High School to today and clean all of that crap up. But the fact that I can't see other people's profiles in the Timeline format makes it useless to me.
