So after hours of surfing the web i've come somewhat closer to my conclusion.

Is the HP zr24w the same as the zr30w only smaller and much less expensive?

I'm strongly leaning towards that monitor. I think it will either be that or a good 120hz monitor. (Might want to upgrade to 3d in the future just to check it out.) Can anyone suggest a good true 120hz that is 24" - 27" preferably below 400 dollars.

Someone can correct me but I'm pretty sure they are not the same. The 30 is a 10bit and I think the 24 is a 8bit.

Hopefully someone will chime in and verify. I did most my research on 27-30 panels so I don't know much about the zr24w
