Your sig rig says 570 already; adding another?

Good call.

I'm hoping for 100k this time. I've folded about 580k since the end of the last one. I'm taking donations if anyone has a crappy rig sitting around they want to fold for me

Holy crap, a i7 950 might be donated?! That's huge! I'd love to win and start my folding farm, that way the 950 would bigadv 24/7 at my dad's office (utilities included there so no huge power bill at my house ) and I could still gpu / cpu fold at home. Because of deletethegame's generosity next foldathon I'll donate 2 8800GTX's.

yay this is my first time folding during a competition. hope I can help with my i7 960 and 6950. What would be the best way to run them both? (or is it better to just run one?) I am currently using FAH GPU Tracker V2 for the CPU and FAHControl (V7) for the GPU. I remember when I had both running in one of the controllers at the same time the CPU PPD would suffer greatly.

You can run the CPU n the Tracker, but I'd recommend using this client for the GPU:
http://www.overclock.net/overclock-n...ing-guide.html

After you've done that, go into the settings in the Tracker for the CPU, and set it to only use seven threads.

Ok I have the GPU set up as the guide suggests with v7 and the smp set up in the GPU Tracker v2. Now I see where I can chose how many cores to use but not threads

-also, my GPU is folding FAHcore 0x11, I have added client-type advanced to it to enable 0x16. Will that show up on the next WU?
