I dropped a 6903 today (10/24/11) early in the morning and I was happy because I finally got a large work-unit to land during a FAT. For some reason it seems as though the FAT stats did not actually start at the beginning of the day because it is showing that I only have ~13k today for the FAT, but on EOC it shows me to have about ~300k which is what I have actually gotten today. Am I missing something???mad.gif

Where do the excess points displayed in PPD go? I am on a bigadv (wont finish in time for this event...thus my GPU folding away. Anyway, the project is 7000 something points and 24k ppd. Can someone explain the difference?

PPD is points per day.
For Example:
If you can finish 5 2000 point work-units in a day the ppd would be 10k but you would only get 2k for each work-unit

but what about in the case of a bigadv unit where it takes 2 days to finish, PPD is 24,000 and the unit is worth 7164?

Have you gotten a passkey yet? Once you complete 10 smp units with your passkey you will start to get bonus points. The 24k ppd is likely what you would get if you were getting bonuses but because you are (presumably) not, you are getting less points than it is predicting.

It looks like we have 4,896,784 points so far. That's about 1,632,261 points per 3-hour update. If we keep this up, we will just break that 26M point goal!

I've got a 6900 dropping in the morning. The -oneunit flag is set so that I can switch over to SMP for the rest of the FaT. Unfortunately, I'll be gone for a few hours when the unit drops, so I won't be able to start the SMP folding right away. Oh well, at least my 580 is still cranking away.
