[Escapist] Skyrim Beaten In Just Over Two Hours - Page 5

That's like saying, wow only 7:30 seconds, hope there's more to the morrowind campaign than that.

These guys play the game with speed in mind so of course corners are going to be cut. It won't ever be just 2 hours.

You don't see much of anything of the game, not even the main story, when you speed run these types of games.

Actually seeing everything in the game is more of a 200-300 hour feat.
I would say I was nearing the 300 mark by the end of morrowind. I just never got into oblivion though.

They're speed running it, it's supposed to be fast...

sad...

took me a MONTH of 8hrs a day marathon playing to beat the goldbox pool of radiance game back in the day. After I beat it, I had half a phonebook thick hand written/drawn notes, journals and maps.

NOW THAT WAS AN RPG GAME.

I really like to see the dev teams have fun with what they do. It means they're making more of an effort to make a great game.

My question is: Would you have time for that kind of gaming right now? It not only requires free time but also a free mind and plenty of patience.

Honestly I hope skyrim gives me as much entertainment as Oblivion did back on my old Xbox 360 gaming days because I'm pretty sure I have 450 hours total on Oblivion. Man I loved that game. I only have about 5 hours on PC though because I just played around with some mods and that was about it.
That's why I wrote "I don't consider". Everyone else is entitled to their opinions. When I finish Crysis 2, I have beaten the single player portion of that game on the selected difficulty. It's done, over, beaten.

The misleading title here (which has also misled you) should actually be something like "Speedrun of Skyrim's main quest done in two hours".

Using cheats. You're not really "playing the game" in that case, imho. But beyond that, anything goes I would say.
