diamond RMA

Thread Starter
Greetings,
I am trying to find out how long diamonds RMA process takes. I sent my 5770 in last week. Also does anyone know how they test RMA graphic cards? I have tried the card in 3 different system, Intel and AMD, and no signal. Tried every port(hdmi, dvi, dvi to vga adapter) with no luck. Tried in crossfire to get it to fire but no luck. would recognize in device manager as 5700 with error and tried all CCC from 6.1-11.9 with driver swipe and uninstallation on each version and would crash and hang when windows try installing. Anyone else have this problem or RMA diamond cards?

I had a Diamond 4870x2 that lasted two weeks. The RMA took 3 weeks to get it back. The next time it died (a day out of warranty) they didn't return my calls or emails. I really don't like Diamond anymore. Hope you have better luck!

I don't know there testing procedure.

Thanks, so far I haven't had any trouble with dealing with them and gave found mixed reviews. My card is in process of testing last they told me. Did they notify you when they shipped it back?

Ok
Just got my replacement video card from Diamond and the process took a little less than 3 weeks from the day I shipped it( due ti shipping times and holiday). Customer support was helpful but if you want to know the status you'll have to call to see. I received my card and it was labeled a 5770 but put in computer and found it to be a new 6770! Sweet trade!!! I also found out the 5700 and 6700 are crossfire capable. recommend using the 6700 in primary PCI-E for setup. No problems plug and play your heart out. I will buy Diamond again even if I have to RMA again.

I sent them an RMA request ticket on 9/24. It's now 10/25 and the status is still "not viewed".

What's your secret to getting them to answer? So far it's left a bad taste in my mouth. Doubt I'll ever buy from them in the future at this rate. I at least have the second 5770 in the meantime, but if I was running one card I'd have been without this computer this whole time.

sorry for the delay in response. Call them and go through the waiting process. Sometimes they will pick up in a few minutes or 20-30 minutes but wait it out and talk to a rep. I sent in an RMA request and called several hours later to address it and within 10 minutes after the call I got my RMA information. Also when you ship it to them get tracking or delivery confirmation (same thing but called differently for post office reasons) it's 60 cents extra, that way you know when diamond get the card and they can not tell you they haven't got it yet. If they do tell you that, have the tracking number ready and they should ask for it, if not give it to them, they will get on it to find it. almost always call for updates. it took about 3(give 7-10 business days as RMA standard timing) days to trouble shoot and ship a new one out. Basically cover your basics(shipping, repair time, etc..) to the point they can't give you the run around.
Diamonds contact number: (818)357-5165

Basically stay on them, like every few days, to check status because their online is not great and they don't update much.
