definitely wait. you've waited this long. there is a lot of stuff coming to light about the crosshair V boards possibly being part of the problem. it just wasn't smart to bench the chip on a board so immature. wait it out just a bit longer imo.....

also, go ahead and add your system specs here...http://www.overclock.net/specs.php?do=addsystem

Im going to wait to see if BD matures a bit before buying one of those. I may upgrade to a 980BE in the mean time. About half the cost of a 8150 her ein NZ and good value.

Better get 1090T it seems that bulldozer runs slower.

Just stop. We've posted plenty of comparisons with different motherboards with miniscule differences in framerate.

Nope.
Well...Yes...But there is so much wrong with the reviews and so many bugs and things coming to light that giving this advice is irresponsible.

BD may have performed so poorly because the CHV had a bad BIOS, Bad software, It might be the L1 Bug, It might be that the CHV was just a poor choice of board, or it might just be the failure it appears to be. There is a lot that could be causing the problems, and there is no reason to spend money on a new chip when you might end up wasting it. Heck, some reviews show BD matching SB and others show it failing spectacularly on the same tests. That is not normal.
Empirically speaking, something must be wrong with the tests, because results should be FAIRLY similar.

I would wait until OCN people start getting their hands on the chips to see what they can do in a real world situation. Because buying a 1090T then hearing that BD is not a flop would not be a good feeling.

I know Im not upgrading until I start to see a problem running my games at a reasonable level.
But patience is a virtue. Give it a few weeks.
If its still up in the air by then grab a 1090 and call it good.

BD has major issues. Not only with software needing tweaks or other hardware needing tweaks. It was a design flaw. For so many reasons. Even the latency on the cache is ridiculous.

Check this, just one of many possible examples: http://www.xbitlabs.com/news/cpu/dis...er_Fiasco.html

I say possible because there is no evidence to prove it.

If you already have the board and what not then I would grab a 1090t and call it a day. Pick up another cpu down the road to upgrade. Wait to see what the next BDs look like. I would definitely tell you not to get BD right now and hope for a bunch of tweaks. Not a good scenario.
