New i5-2500k - Looking for some advice..

Hello all !!

So my new system is up and running and I've started the overclocking process. I'm currently sitting at 4.6 @ 1.39v with temps maxing at 67ish loaded. I tryed P95 @ 1.85v and lower and got BSOD 124. I have LLC turned on (it only has one setting on my mobo) and left everything else in my BIOS on auto aside from bringing my ram up to its XMP stock ratings and disabling Turbo Boost on all cores. I ran P95 blend for 1.5 hours at these settings and didn't get an error or BSOD. I will run a longer test tonight to ensure my results.

I have a few questions:

My goal OC was 4.7. To obtain that I will have to go above 1.4 vcore, is this ok for a 24/7 daily driver ?

I noted that my vcore @ idle was 1.39ish volts, but when it was under load it dropped to 1.368. Is this normal ? (I have a feeling this has to do with LLC ?)

I have noted that my BLCK sets at 100.3 all the time. Should I go in and manually turn this down to 100 ? Will it help improve stability ?

First time poster... Long time lurker =D

Thanks,
Sav

Thanks for the link !! It did answer all of my questions.

Just an update:

My overnight P95 BSODed after about 2 hours in to a 124. Since reading a bunch of info, I found the 1344 and 1792 tests and have be using them to tweak my system this morning. I'm now up to 1.415 vcore in the BIOS and 1.392 in CPU-Z at load. I was getting worker errors, so I descided to play around with the VTT a little. I bumped it up to 1.1 from its stock 1.05, that gave me BSOD 124. So I knocked it down to 1.0 and I just passed 15ish mins of 1344 and 1792. I'm gonna try a longer blend test today. I will post back with my results.
