Best Video Converter?

I need to convert files from AVI to MP4 or WMV( As both work in Zune, I need it to work in Zune). What is the best program? Also I'm assuming this will take forever? I'm going to convert like 14 gigs of a show.

I love to use a program called handbrake. It is made for ripping dvd's, however it can also convert between digital formats. The great thing about it is you can make a queue, so then you can make all of the files convert, and when you get back it a couple hours it's done! To add to that, it also has presets (unfortunately, the new version only really has apple products ), but you can also make a custom output format and resolution for all of your files if you so choose. Good luck!

So it doesn't work on W7 or it does? I don't want to DL it, and now have it work.

Alright and what file type is H.264? I've never heard of it. It says it works with Zune, but on the Zune software it doesn't mention it?

H.264 is for iPods. Xilisoft has both presets and regular 'settings'.

For Zunes, you simply chose, Zune.
