Is it possible to reformat windows using iPhone 4 as the USB?

Thread Starter
I struck a gold mine when my friend gave me his tower and said that he will give me the tower if I learned Linux. I agreed and chose backtrack Linux . I currently do not have another PC so I may have to go to a library or borrow someones. In any case I am wondering

A- if I can download the zip or exe from the site onto my iPhone

B- if bios will boot from my iPhone.

The tower currently has no operating system and will not boot at all. Someone halfway installed windows xp, it asks for disk 2.

I'm a pretty fast learner, if someone with more experience than myself could help me get this up and running I would be grateful!

Thanks in advance for any consideration

you will not be able to use an iPhone, no.

you can use a 4GB or larger USB drive, and even some other MP3 players, but not an iPhone.

you will also need to download and extract the ISO on another computer. (true for linux distros as well as windows)

If your phone is jailbroken and you have OpenSSH, you should be able to drop it in your phone via wifi. As to whether or not it would work, I highly doubt it.

You could Jailbreak your iPhone and partition it an boot from that partition, or use one of those "convert your iPhone into a USB" app all over cydia and app store.
