1100T 4244mhz benchmark results

Hi,

Decided to run some benchmarks now that BD is out to see how I did against the 8150 and the 2600k that was used as a comparison in the review I saw. I am using exacally what is in my signature, nothing was fake, some pics at bottom, If you need specific screens let me know. Currently my 1100T did very good against the 8150(stock and OC) and 2600k (stock). Going to re-run tests with a second OC but with more bus but still 4240range to try to get higher numbers, but this is my 100% prime stable overclock (2hrs smallfft and 2hrs blend). Other method I havent tested on prime as long

Basically 236x18=4244mhz I used, maxxmem shows other details. 4 dimms of dominator GT also.

My comparisons where from here:

First they ran was the full aida64 benchmarks
I will do mine as text since there are so many, didnt want to take a 13 screenshots.

Noice results man and also shows some better reasons why there is no reason to buy a FX 8150 (as much as i hate to say that). X6's are still very respectable processors.

just Oc mine to 4.2 as well, cause this thread made me have to try on my sabertooth for the hell of it. went easy. http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=2047013 yay.

yeah dude, I think the new fx series only brings way faster memory speeds. I would love to try to oc an 8150 though, i think if it was in the $220-240 like it was supposed to be I would have gotten one for fun. I just cant imagine that an overclocked thuban can beat it in several benchmarks, thats why im hoping its just bugs right now. Not to mention some are lucky to have 1090/1100s in the 4.5ghz range

Nice That's about the same scores I get. I ran a 7.51 FPS on Cinebench just a few days ago @ 4.28 Ghz.

Curious, but what timings are you running on your GT's? Also, just noticed...you might want to bump up your HT multi by one.

No reason at all to get an FX, if anything I'll be getting Sandy soon enough.

i seriously would not call 4 hours of stress testing 24/7 stable. still nice work.

Oh man i missed that, thanks. On that run I was running 9-9-9-24-2t, Im not super knowledgable on messing with timings so i havent ventured beyond 8-8-8-24 1t at a lower frequency, I lowered down to cas7 but at the frequency i needed I had an overall faster latency with the 9-9-9-24 since the freq aids in that.

Out of curiousity when people say 12hrs etc, is that blend they run that long? I have always been nervouse about letting it sit on a BSOD or locked etc when Im asleep and something goes bad.

You're good, it won't hurt anything if it locks up or BSOD's while stressing. How's the dram voltage looking on your sticks? I'm primarily asking because I'm running Hyper's as well and I cracked 1800 Mhz when I ran another different H-264 encoding bench w/ 6-6-6-17-34 1T. I forgot, I was only at 4.2 when I ran Cinebench for that 7.51 fps. To many benches lately comparing to BD, and I'm getting the results mixed up...

Pay no mind to the "Ur doin it wrong" I snapped that whilst shutting someone up about Thuban performing terribly in Cinebench (they were getting 6.2 fps and saying that the 8150 was awesome )

Man those are good timings!

Lol I havent played a whole lot with mine, i generally leave them alone at the moment since i have been searching for my max mhz, which seems to be just under 4300Mhz. I will be adding some new info today from benchmarks I ran last night, I was curious the effect of OC with more bus VS less buss and more multiplier. Results were so marginal i personally dont feel one should lean torwards the other unless its for the search of stability.

At 1880 i am at 1.662v to keep it safe. My cpu-nb is usually between 2900-3100 depending on the OC. I have been running through so many different setups lately lol when I switched to the asus board I was able to do so much more with memory I havent played enough with it yet. My msi would BSOD so much on anything memory related, I think it was poor power supply from the vrms or something.

I also hear the gt's (not gt X) dont like to be overclocked much more than they are labeled for, but I got mine booted in 1999mhz at stock timings, and something like 7-8-7-22 2t when at 1333 8-8-8-22 2t in the 1600range. Its been a while though

What voltage are you feeding yours to get those timings with that frequency, I think you have better sticks lol Or because Im running 4dimms the IMC in the processor cant handle it good.

Thanks! Sorry it took me so long to reply. I put on a charity haunt for Wounded Warriors, and things are down to the wire for Halloween. That's taking up a lot of my time lately.

I'm not certain, but rethinking it, I think those are the PSC you have in those sticks. While mine are the Elpida MGH-E Hyper's. These are SuperTalent Project X sticks, rated at 2000Mhz 7-7-7-21. These are some of the highest binned Hyper's STT ever put out, and iirc there was a similar set that reached 2600+ Mhz (on an Intel platform ofc). Though I'd have to look it up on the Bot to say for absolute certain.

I'm running them at 1.8v, although STT said it was no problem running them up to 1.85 daily (I actually know of someone who ran similar sticks @ 1.9v day in/day out with no problems). They don't need that much voltage to stay stable, and I could possibly drop it a little lower. I'm still playing around with this UD-5, the same way you are. Trying to find max speeds, while maintaining stability. But, yeah. AMD's not to good on high freq settings generally, these sticks just work really, really well. It does love these timings though.

I can, and have dropped tRAS to 16 and they maintain stability. But I was playing around with some other settings and encountered a little instability while @ 4.3Ghz. So I'd increase tRAS to 17 for a bit, trying to i.d. the stability issue. Turned out to be that the NB didn't care to much for being above 3100 Mhz.
