MDPC-X sleeving on color coded cables?

Thread Starter
I want to get some white sleeving from MDPC-X and I was wondering if it would work well with color coded cables (the ones that have black for ground, yellow for 12 volts etc.)? How uniform would that cables look?
Thanks for the help! biggrin.gif
(Note: This will be my first time sleeving a PSU smile.gif)

If you Get MDPC-X sleeving it will all look uniform according to the people that have used it you don't see the cable trough the sleeving.

There will be some tinting to the cables. Even with super dense weave you will have the color bleed through unless the cable is white.

Is it possible to make the cables white? I guess I could put white heatshrink over the top. Would that help?

you could spraypaint the damn things if you like....honestly though, once your rig is assembled with sleeved cables and what not, as long as your rig looks tight, noone will ever notice that you sleeved over multicolored cables. people do it all the time.

You can do tape or just redo the cable by buying it separate and adding the connectors

Doing a build with the MDPC white sleeving, and I am replacing the colored wire with white wire.

In MDPCs instructions they say wrap wire with white electrical tape, it just seemed like it would make a mess to me.

Sounds like a good idea not only will it make true white cable no bleeding but also you can do the cable to length after routing for better looks.
