23-24in Gaming Monitor for <$400

My Samsung 228BW needs to be retired, since it now flickers for at least an hour after being turned on. As such, I'm in need of advice for a good monitor.

My main concern is that the monitor be 23-24inch and under $400. This would be use 99% for gaming.

Can someone please help recommend me one or a few?

Is 120hz worth investing in at that price, versus getting one with say, other features that improve image quality?

I've considered this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...75&Tpk=S23A750 ... but I feel like I may be paying extra for 3D crap that I wouldn't want.

The one in my sig is the clearest, most beautiful display I have ever seen or used. I had to have it. It came to about $380 CAD on sale. 24", HDMI/DVI/VGA inputs, 1920 x 1200 resolution, tons of picture adjustment options.

It looks like that went out of production a while ago

If I were you I would get the Dell U2410. It is an IPS panel and handles gaming quite well. Usually can be had on sale for $400 or lower. I just bought the lower quality model, the U2412M and I was worried about gaming with it but it is great.
