Totally awesome and thanks for the effort in passing on the info to us not so electrically smart. I will be attempting it this weekend hopefully and let you know if it works. By the way where did you get the switches and what kind were they? Thanks again.

I'm glad I can help. Please let me know if anything confuses you or you have any questions. Post up some pictures of your's! I'd like to see how you did it. The switches are just cheap(35cents) 1 way switches. Honestly you can use any type of toggle switch that is a 1 way. You could even use a light switch from a house. As long as it has the 2 prongs. Here's what I used but they aren't selling them anymore. Let me know if you can buy from a us store and I can find one for you.

I went ahead and tested it all out. I dont have the switches yet so I was just testing it out to see if it all worked. here are some pics of the colors and wire combinations it takes to get them. These of course are the LEDs from a XPS720 BTX case being tested in a 5v rail from the power supply.

I currently also have an XPS 730 that I have used as my case for a build and plan an trying to hook up those lights to a few switches (because they no longer work with an after market system in it).

But they will not be as easy due to all the wires being black. Will have to do alot of trial and eror to figure them out. That is for another post.
Hope fully this helps someone out.

Wow that looks awesome! One question though, are you going to use the 720? I like the look of that 730. I'm glad I could help out..

Thanks, and yes I plan on building one with my 720. I just wanted to have all the things figured out before I took it on. I just used the 730 to test the lights because it is the only one I have operational. And yest the 730's look just as awesome. And other than the whole BTX thing the inside is exactly the same.

Well Post pictures and keep me updated and ask as many questions as you'd like haha. I'm starting a new build too but I'm gonna sell it on ebay once I'm done.

Hey I'm sorry that this is so late..and probably useless by now but I haven't been able to get to a computer the past few months... anyways I had to drill holes through the Atx tray to connect it ontop of the stock tray. I hope that helps...
