See them little black dots i have exactly the same in places i did get one off, and under it was copper so its like the nickel is going in certain pin hole places and then goes black and finally will falls off showing the copper.

Its weird but as many nickel platers have said to me its all about prep when you nickel something and it is probably rushed when being mass produced.

Still the Watercool HeatKiller looks nice.. but thats another £60 over budget.. well the budget went out the window last month
