Ah, ok, thanks for the link. Seems like it's geared toward OC, which mine isn't.

Quite confusing since everything is on AUTO and should work "right out of the boX" rolleyes.gif

Hm, RMA'd the GPU and got the new one. Installed it, updated drivers and BF3 froze 10 minutes in.

Try memtest once again but with only one atick of ram installed at a time. I got through 18 passes with no errors with 4 sticks installed but got errors after my first pass with only one stick. Good luck!!

Couldn't remember if I had tried memtest with only one stick or not so I decided to give it another go.

I installed memtest to USB drive (like before), take out one RAM stick, restart and try to enter boot menu and it freezes at the motherboard splash screen. Restart and try to enter UEFI to change boot priority. Again, freezes. Try this with the other RAM stick and same thing. Put both back in and it does it again. This is new symptom.

However, the computer will start up normally and enter Windows if I don't try to enter UEFI.

This is getting really frustrating! Any ideas?

Well, it's working again!

I RMA'd the motherboard and memory. I also made sure to load "Profile 1" in the DRAM settings within UEFI as recommended by Asrock for this type of memory. So, it must have been one of those 3.
