A question about "build quality". Don't most people have a case for their phone, so does it matter what the back of the phone is made of? =/

I foresee a class action lawsuit in Apple's future. I haven't seen them mention that some of Siri's services only work in the US in any of the commercials.
imo the GSII does have better build quality. I have an ip4 and im not going to lie, i do like the back glass. Makes it feel slick. But everyone know the ip4 and 4s are at a risk/prone of glass break so you have to be careful. I also see a class action lawsuit because of siri. My friend has the ip4s and it cant answer some thing he asked it.

Actually no, not everyone uses case. I for one dont like them that much, adds bulk and ruin the design of the phone. But on the ip4 i opt to put something on it because its glass. Ill upload a pic...

All my friends with the iPhone 4 and myself included don't use a case. It's been a year with no mishaps. Not to say we don't ever drop it, just saying the phone is not as fragile as everyone would like to think.

SGS2 screen is an absolute stunner, to the point that I'm gonna put up with this crappy 20" TN panel (temporary replacement for my broken IPS) until OLEDs go mainstream. Colours look amazing, and especially when contrasted against the absolute black the screen can produce, I sometimes find myself just staring at pictures which never struck me before.

Having each individual pixel having a separate power draw means that you can have a tiny part of the screen always on with a clock, or notification spot with next to no power draw (whereas a TFT panel is either full power or off).

I bet you would like either phone, I have the original Ipod touch and was pretty happy with the polish of it all. This is the first device I've bought where every day I like it more than the last, and iv had this thing for months now!

- quick question for the apple people, is it possible to use the camera LED as a flashlight (toggle on and off)?

Yup yup, there are arguably too many apps on the AppStore that offer this feature free and paid.... yes, people have the gall to try to get you to pay for such a basic feature.

Total randomness: @ Oupavoc: Aluminum cases =

If you visit : http://www.apple.com/iphone/features/siri.html

You'll see "Siri is available in Beta only on iPhone 4S and requires Internet access. Siri may not be available in all languages or in all areas, and features may vary by area. Cellular data charges may apply."

That same message is at the end of their video as well. Apple is well versed in lawsuits by now and probably knows what to do to cover their A** lol.

I never said it was a cheap piece of plastic, but I personally believe the glass is better for feel, for how good the display looks, and aesthetics, but not so much for durability.

Actually they have said that. Location services are apparently coming in 2012.
I've watched those, but there was a few flaws with them. For example, in the app loading test the 4S is disadvantaged because the SG2 had app animations (opening and closing) turned off. Another point, they didn't really demonstrate Siri's capabilities either.
