Hi guys.
I just got this mobo and I am wondering if I should use the Intel SATA III or the Marvel SATA III ports ?

I have WD Caviar Black 1TB HDD if it matters.

Also .. what is the difference between these ports ?

Only use the Marvel SATA III ports as a last resort (Like when you run out of native ports). They are slower VS the Native ones.

Also remember to Disable both the Marvell and Jmicron controllers from bios, for a faster boot.

You're quite welcome.

I have a Owners Club. First and second post of this Club is full of information about these boards.
