I have a few questions for you since i cant wait until december to upgrade

1.) How easy is it to manage cables, and if possible could you post some pics of things you have done to manage the cables?
2.) This is REALLY important to me...........do the HDD's face backwards (SATA facing the side panel thats not the main one), and if so do all the plugs fit back there nicely? Can you see any of them?
3.) Will a 24 pin ATX cable fit behind the mobo tray?
4.) Do you like the case? What are some pros and cons.
5.) Is it worth it over my A300?

Thanks, pics of your setup encouraged

I have a few questions for you since i cant wait until december to upgrade

1.) How easy is it to manage cables, and if possible could you post some pics of things you have done to manage the cables? It is rather easy to manage cables
2.) This is REALLY important to me...........do the HDD's face backwards (SATA facing the side panel thats not the main one), and if so do all the plugs fit back there nicely? Can you see any of them? The HDD sata connections face the non-perspex side-panel
3.) Will a 24 pin ATX cable fit behind the mobo tray? it does fit, with other cables and such it becomes a tight squeeze though
4.) Do you like the case? What are some pros and cons. i do like the case
5.) Is it worth it over my A300? not sure what the A300 is, sorry

Thanks, pics of your setup encouraged

I 100% agree the HAF 912 is a great case for the price.

Go with the HAF912 if you are keeping with an air cooler, get the Arc MIDI for a water cooling set up. There is not enough room in the back of the HAF912 for an enclosed water cooling unit like the Corsair H50 along with top fans, the rear fan mount is too high up.

The CM Storm Enforcer solved that problem though.

For the same price as the MIDI you could buy the HAF912 and 2 200mm fans to go along with it. Also it's not as long as the HAF922 so air travel is significantly less, and will help cooling more.

I'm sure the MIDI offers similar cooling, but it has more fans. The way I see it is have more 140mm fans with a larger variety of brand and colors you could buy in the long run, but it will ultimately be louder due to the quantity of them in your case, or you could buy just 2 200mm fans with limited selection but have it be quieter.

I personally prefer the HAF912 and 200mm fans.

I never plan on watercooling, the midi looks just like the HAF 912, except that it has 2 less 5.25 bays and 2 more 3.5 bays. Noise doesnt really bother me, i will probobly just throw whatever fans i have into the HAF 912 since airflow isnta big concern to me.......ANYTHING is better than my A300

The midi looks amazing, its my favorite case on earth, but its really expensive and i dont want to wait until december, plus 100$ for a mid tower is insane to me. I need HDD bays, but i think the 912 has enough for now.

A300 = Antec 300, my current case. And by "tight fit" what do you mean? How tight, do i have to bend the panel, can you post some pics of what it looks like back theer with a 24 pin?

Thanks everyone

It's actually 2 fans, the Xigmatek Orange ones

If you look down the bottom in the middle, that is where my 24pin ATX cable is going through, it is bunched with all the other cables and makes the side panel bulge slightly.

I'm sure someone with more cable routing experience could do a better job.

Thanks for the pic, i dont have as many cables so i dont think it will be that big of an issue. But im a self proclaimed pro at managing cables . I have never owned a case that had proper cable managment. First case was the raidmax smilodon, then i got an old quantex case with no fans, but after trying to use it i gave it to my friend. Then i got this, but i had to cut my holes and they arent the best . So ive had some time to learn. Im definitley going to get this instead of the midi, since its cheaper and almost the same quality.

EDIT - OH GOD, what are you doing to that poor logitech box lol
