I mean what did you set it to in ibt? You can change it, setting it to 6gb or max (when if have 8gb) is much more stressful then when you leave it at default which is 2.

I finally bumped the voltage up 0.02 and I haven't had a bluescreen since.

I will admit, my stability testing was pretty overboard, but I really like knowing that I can leave my computer for any period of time and be confident it won't give me any trouble.
Great advice! +rep

I can pass 100 pass of IBT on my 2500k overclocked. However, Prime95 custom blend fails after 8 hours at the same setting.

For Sandy bridge, Prime95 is better for determining longer term stability imho. Linpack is good for finding quick instabilities though before running Prime95.

20 test of IBT is = like 24 hours of prime95 so i would say yes thats plenty stable

Am I the only one who finds this rather amusing?

Completely contradictory advice in back-to-back posts...

I usually just use 40 runs of Linpack. Its great for quick testing.

Prime blend is actually better at stress testing Sandybridge. There are a lot of reports of users passing long runs of Linx/IBT with AVX support failing prime blend in under an hour. I'm one of them.

It's more than amusing. if you don't know, don't post. that simple. misinformation helps nobody.

to the OP; you're not stable if you BSOD while blending,

*edit* - did not mean to imply that the guy I'm quoting is wrong. I'm agreeing with him, lol.
