That's $515, not $474, and the X3 720 is not available for purchase outside of a combo special at newegg.

Why no dual channel kit?

The A4-3300 is equal in performance to an underclocked Athlon II X2 Regor coupled to an HD6450, the slowest GPU in the 6000 series you can buy. To make matters worse, the single 4GB RAM chip (non dual channel) would further bottleneck the GPU. I'm sorry to say, this build would be absolutely terrible in gaming. Sorry frown.gif

OP: You can get a PSU and Case for a little cheaper/same price if you want to go with your Source 210. And as you have a Optical drive just change that out with A mouse and you're set. Otherwise I completely agree with this build. And most of the other builds posted by mdocod.

Dude just save some money for the next couple of weeks, increase your budget to $600 and you could have a solid intel system which could hands down beat any amd triple core (<= S***) dual core setup. Don't rush something you plan on owning for the next year or so to settle with a below par system that wont run bf3 maxed out. Try tigerdirect.com for combo deals cpu/mobo/ram. Good luck.

Reposting a build I just threw together for another build:

This nice rosewill case with plenty of fans
http://www.Newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=11-147-153

Combo deal with this nice rosewill green 530w,
http://www.Newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=17-182-199

case and psu come out to $90

Cpu: deneb core x4 6mb l3 $95
http://www.Newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=19-103-993

Mobo: Asus M4A89TD PRO usb 3 refurb,supports 2 x8 pcie slots for crossfire $58 + shipping:
http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=M4A89GTD-PRO-BO-R&cat=MBB

120mm CPU cooler for 11$ AMIR:
http://www.Newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=35-181-012

6790 1gb for $100 amir and promo code:
http://www.Newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=14-131-397

Tons of 2x2gb ddr3 1600 for $30, take your pic

500GB 7200rpm hdd $40 with promo
http://www.Newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=22-136-769

$424 AMIR (did the addition in my head, correct me if I'm wrong) not counting tax and shipping(most items are shipped free though) . There is usually a 10% off code for geeks(GEEKBERT or techbargains), should make the shipping basically free.

Some budget left for peripherals, this would allow you the ability to upgrade to crossfire, and sets you up with a nice cpu cooler.

For peripherals I have no idea what to recommend really...

This gigabyte mouse:
http://www.Newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=26-146-009

My before mir price looks to be a few bucks over budget, could probably tweak it a bit to change that, like this cpu deal with the A50 (must purchase in combo deal, and saves 10$) http://www.Newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=19-103-652

Edit: thanks magical forum gods for fixing my links!
