[QuinEtiam] AMD FX/Bulldozer Registry Fix - 40% performance boost! - Page 25

As much as I would love this to be true, I find it very hard to believe. I do believe performance can be improved possibly with software tweaks, and maybe even by as much as 40% in some benches. I just don't put much faith in some random person's blog. Very skeptical and will not even give it an inkling of faith until more info is released.

I am a huge AMD fan btw, don't let my system list fool you. Not fanboy comments, just common sense. Nothing would please me more than a 50%+ increase across the board. I would be giddy if BD pulled ahead of SB/Gulf, but this is nowhere near credible.

He's trolling for sure. He probably saw all of the negative press about Bulldozer and decided to generate a ton of traffic to his site by writing about how Bulldozer is actually awesome with a simple registry fix.

I believe him just as much as I believe maxmyspeed.com will make my computer 100% faster.

We should do this: I'll send you a Maya file and we render it head to head and see what the render times are like. I'll render it on my 980 @ 4.3 GHz and on my 2600k boxes at 4.8 GHz. You can render on your 8120 @ whatever OC you'd like.

There is no link in his comments to any "fix"...

The only link in his comments, is some guy asking him to render a "file" for him so he can tell that guy how fast BD renders it compared to an E8400.

I am still calling bull**** on this. ESPECIALLY after reading his article about where he talks about Aliens whom he calls "The Bone Lady", who visited him as a child and downloaded information into his head, warning him about some global cataclysm thats about to befall us all in 2013!
