It's not an idea, it's a fact. Now, we can talk topology, components, specs if you want, but I'd try to best resume it this way, GG is a high end platform, among the best on the market, on par with Seasonic X.. S12D is an upper mainstream platform with excellent performance but a step below the above.. and don't get this wrong, this is not bias, I love the S12D and price/performance wise it's the best thing to come out of Seasonic in a long while.

"Isn't known" has no value as an argument.. "Isn't known" is generally accepted ignorance.. if you would have said "I know these units are poor because of.. x/y/z" we could have talked.. "I don't know this and subsequently this is poor simply because I don't know it" defies all logic and it's called 'argument from ignorance' in psychology, and usually hints to some pathology.

"Isn't known" by who?.. should he/she/it know what "isn't know" and if so why?.. what authority on the matter he/she/it has?.. "Isn't known" means nothing, at best it means "I don't know".. at worst it means something else but I'll hold that thought

You were talking about performance only, not topology or build quality. I agree that the Golden Green platform is better overall, but the XFX 850 XXX still performs better than the SF Golden Green 800w.

Yeah, I do know what you're saying.. but there are no voltage readings/graphs in cross loading tests on jonny's/wolf's/tazz's reviews, Seasonic in general is lagging behind in this regard, no reason to expect something else from S12D

Okay. I'll cite my research and include a works cited page next time.

This shouldn't require such debate. Oh right, the internet.

There only seems to be a few Seasonic platforms that get wonky when you cross-load them... otherwise they're just OK. But that doesn't really matter in this day and age, does it?

Actually it matters more than it did before, with so much emphasis put on the 12v and nothing for the minor rails things can go pretty mad in some configurations
