Thermal paste can't be wrong on my end or I'd have higher temps :S

Yeah it could be the fan profile, I have mine to spin pretty fast because I game with headphones but its a pretty big difference... and generally things that seem to good to be true aren't...

No, not saying it is wrong but replacing thermal paste in most cases will improve the temperature. That's what I did with all my cards, after tested not DOA next is to replace the TIM.

Ahh I see I might do that down the line. I plan to upgrade the card every year anyway. I just can't believe that its so cool at 900Mhz.. I guess I haven't changed the voltage yet but I was expecting more than a few degrees increase..
