Here We Go....Again....

Thread Starter
.................What's up fellow Overclock.Neters! I have something embarrassing to say: I use my sister's computer. Right now your goin' . My sister's godparents get her EVERYTHING. My godparent is in Greece right now having the time of his life. But after 8 years of saving( Since I was 4) I managed to pull 4800 dollars! Here is my crack at my new system. I'm going Blue for this Build and will have it up and running by February, estimated though. Some Light-Medium gaming(.5-1.5 Hours) on BF3, The Run, HP, AC(If it's possible) and some TF2. I plan to make upgrades on it and go water. So here I go and enjoy.

Main Components

Central Processing Unit- Intel Core i7 2600K- NewEgg
I will be using the HyperThreading with AE/Vegas/PS. The 4 cores with a great amount of L3 Cache. I don't really care for the 2500k. I'm gonna stand out on this one and go with the 6. Will overclock it's brains out, if It has a Brain.

Graphics Processing Unit- MSi Lightning Xtreme Gtx 580 3GB- NewEgg
Great looks, Great performance. I will plan to upgrade to 3 monitors and SLI this suckers. Overclocking is a must and a will. Most games with AA,Max with High Texture packs.

Motherboard- Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD7-B3- NewEgg
Nice, Sleek, Sophisticated black look. Has millions of features and doo-dahs and is a great overclocker from what I heard. First time with Gigabyte and first time with the Touch Bios. I was going to go with the ROG boards but they're ugly with less features.

Memory- G.Skill Ripjaws X Blue 16GB DDR3-2133 4x4GB CAS9- NewEgg
Once again, I'm chasing that cool blue color. I great CAS9 latency with a super fast 2133MHz speed. 109.99 is an amazing price for compared to other RAM. When I overclock this suckers it's gonna go Zoom-Zoom-Kaboom!!!!

Power Supply- Corsair AX1200- NewEgg
Lot's of OC headroom, and it can power my Water Cooling setup and Tri-Sli capabilities. It has some good reviews and a great reliability. I heard it can push more than its promised wattage.

Hard Drive(s)- Kingston HyperX 240GB SATA III SSD[OS],F3 1TB[OS2],WD 2TB BLACK 7200RPM[Storage]- NewEgg
The HyperX is fastest performing SSD on the market, and I got to put my hands on it. 240GB is some hefty storage right there so, Yay me. I'm using the F3 1TB for my XP, While the other one is solely for W7 Pro. Very fast and reliable drive. The WD 2TB BLACK 7200RPM is for random storage and it's kick-azz. It sure does bring the boys to the yard.

Sound Card- Creative X-Fi Titanium 7.1- NewEgg

This card has some great quality, for a even greater price.[When it's too awesome and you can't find a word you have to improvise.] It isn't too big and it has all the plugs I need for my 'phones and my speakers. Don't they really rely on your sound card anyway?

Monitor- ViewSonic VX2753mh 27" LED Backlit- NewEgg

ViewSonic is the pioneer or great quality monitors and my first monitor was a Viewsonic. I will go surround with my SLI upgrade. This is LED Backlit so it doesn't lose it's dim. Yeah I had to pay 30 bucks extra, but it's worth the damn price.

Case- Silverstone Temjin TJ07- NewEgg
I bet you guys couldn't wait for this part. I will pay the 350 coffee beans and get this sick-azz case. Huge, Water cooling potential, sweet airflow, great looking, and a big side panel window. I will go the whole nine yards and mod this thing 'till it bleeds. It sure is going to go swimming in the blue.

Other Periphrials

Headset/Headphones- Corsair HS1A- NewEgg
It is a 7.1 headset that relies on your sound card. What more can I ask for? Oh wait, I need a big cord. - Check, 9.84 FT. I will pick up another pair of these for my International Baccalaureate program next year.

Keyboard-Logitech G510- NewEgg
Heard these were good, So I just plan on picking one up. Great feel last time I heard.

Mouse- Saitek R.A.T. 3- NewEgg

Don't need all of the fancy features that come with the 5,7, and 9 so this is what I would like to go with. It has a great feel because my cousin owns one.

Optical Drive- LG Blu Ray Burner Super Multi- NewEgg
I'm going to be watching Blu-Ray so this will come in handy.

Mouse Pad- Razer Vespula Transformers- NewEgg

No clue why, Just reminds me of my moms new Lincoln Navigator.

Speakers- Logitech Z906- NewEgg
These have great quality with a kick butt subwoofer. I plan on rockin' this bass with fast lane by Bad meets Evil.

Case Accessories- Logysis Blue Cold Cathode 15" Light- NewEgg

This'll give a nice attractive, aqua blue glow in the middle of the night
.

Cooling System- Liquid Cooling

So Far I Got 5 Case Fans, Will Update Later.

Case Fans
Thermaltake AF0035 Blue Led 92mm Fan
B-gears B-ice Blue Led 120mm Fan
Rosewill RFX-120BL 120mm Blue Led Fan
GELID Solutions FN-FW12BPL-18 120mm Blue LED Fan
APEVIA CF12SL-UBL 120mm Blue LED Fan
These all are quiet, but have some good airflow with high CFM.

Radiator- DangerDen SR1 720 Radiator Black Ice

Might Power Harvested......

Reservouir- Custom Or DangerDen T-Line Radiator

Still Deciding, What do you guys think?

Liquid- DangerDen Feser 1 UV Blue Coolant/ My dad is tinkering with Liquid Nitrogen
I heard it has a great glow, and Liquid Nitrogen is just..... Sweet.

Waterblock- Danger Den Water Block MPX-350C or something like that and GTX 580 Waterblock.
It supposedly fits my cpu perfectly, and the GPU will go swimming too.

Tubing- Undecided
Suggestions, They need to be wide, strong and a good flex radius.

Until then, Later guys and a have a happy Halloween!

So you're 12?

Damn, do you need a 240GB SSD? A 128GB is perfect for OS and some games/programs.
If you are going to get it all by feb, just wait for Sandy-E.

How does a 12 year old save up 5K?? Much of that seems over the top, but its your money...

Edit: You cant be twelve, your writing is too coherent. Sure you didn't miss a 1 in front of that 4?
I can't say that you picked out anything bad, but maybe just a little much. If thats how you want to spend your money though go for it.
A few changes though, go for the Intel 2500K if your using this build only for gaming, hyperthreading is useless for gaming, performance is the same when they are clocked at the same speeds(in gaming).

Also if your going to spend that kind of money might as well get a good audio setup. Get an ASUS Essence STX and some Ultrasones, Beyerdynamics, Denons or another premium brand. If you like metal or electronica I can't recommend Ultrasones enough, and their S-Logic technology really helps when in game.
That 7.1 stuff is all gimmicky, your better with 2 big drivers over a bunch of smaller ones, and you can use virtual surround sound in the 2 driver ones if you want, though I'm actually finding I prefer leaving it off.
Oh yeah, and avoid the Razer mouse pad, I've gone through 3 of their mousepads in a 4 month time, go for a Mionix or the Saietek cyborg one(to match the mouse)

Yeah this guy can't be 12.

Age aside, it seems like a sick rig.

The only thing I would trade out is the power supply. Corsair's are great but call me crazy... I want the best overvolt protection you can get and having that many amps on a single rail makes me nervous. Granted, it is like a .001% chance thing but if you are spending the money might as well try to protect it as vigorously as you can.
