Forza 4 Braking

Thread Starter
I'm talking about like the car braking.

It seems that in Forza 4 I have to get on the brakes much sooner then I did in Forza 3, and it seems that way across the board, not just one car. I've even tried it with Identical cars with the same specs and rating in both games and it still seems that way.

Is this just me or am I the only one who feels like this?

Other then that, its a great game and I love it. it just seems that I have to stop sooner then everyone else does, and then the person behind me just rams into me (stupid AI) and makes me go off to one side.

I'm at the Expert series, driver level 24 with about 300k in the bank.

Are you modulating the brakes right?

Braking actually took some practise in Forza 3 to be able to brake very efficiently without losing traction...

I guess I'm just not used to it yet then. I thought Forza 3's braking was much easier then in this game.

they are trying to simulate the brush and bury you use on some heavier racing cars on the race track.

ITs a swift motion but you can brake fast if you first get on the brakes a smidge before applying hard to transfer weight to the front smoothly. Takes practice but it was the same on GT5
