If you don't mind me asking what is powering the 3 cards? Also what are the temps you are seeing during your rendering?

also..

Ignore the morons. theybadmadloltrolololnub

Hi, Sorry for your experience with OCN to be like this. (some of the more negative posters)

have you tried having a monitor plugged into each 6990 and then fiddling with overclocking settings?
The reason I am suggesting this is because when other users use their PCs with multiple GPUs (NOT CROSSFIRED) they need to have another monitor on each gpu for it to "activate". VGA Dummy Plugs can also be used.

GPU's Will NOT show up in CCC/overdrive if they do not have a monitor plugged into them

The PCIe power connectors go to a 12V 470A switching supply. The temps are around 60/70 full load.

Thanks for the tip, I have ordered some bare DVI connectors and the appropriate resistors to try this. If this makes the cards 'visible' in CCC then my problem is solved

I have 2 6990s in the system right now and I don't need dummy plug to see it in CCC, Device Manager, GPU-Z or other hardware monitors.

Could you use GPU-Z and check each GPU what are the lanes assigned to the GPU x16, x8 x4 or x1.

Take screenshot for the six GPU in GPU-Z.

AFAIK, your motherboard will not allow you to put 3 6990s. That's the hardware limitation hence you only see 4 GPUs under Device Manager or in CCC. If you really need 6 to 8 GPUs, I would suggest get the intel X58 mainboard with 4 full PCIe lanes at x16. Or x8/x8/x8/x8 should do fine too.

I'm really looking for a simple solution to have the clocks stick across reboots that perhaps doesn't even need an utility? (Registry settings perhaps? Driver hack?)
