Surely, this counts for RMA, right?

Thread Starter

I recently RMA'd my rasa 750 pump that had died on me. Customer service was great and got the new pump out to me in a week. However, I received this pump in return.

that's incredibly noisy, I would RMA it again; or check if there's a rock in there

Thats actually the protective film. The main thing is the noise
post #6 of 22
I think I read it a few times people reported similar noise on the rasa kit. You may search the forum.

Have you checked the system for air pockets ?
wobble the case around to make sure,
Also have you tried it screwed in to place ?
mine made quite a bit of noise but has now become almost inaudible,

But apart from that it does seem rather noisy so unless you have tried all the appropriate suggestions then yes an RMA would be required,

Air bubbles have been worked out for the most part. The little ones should come out in time although I could not hear anything when I moved the case around.

The pump/res are totally secure so its not vibrating.

I would immediately cease to use that pump. Prolly XSPC is unfortunate to have received a bad batch of risky pumps. If you look on this forum one user's pump exploded.

LOL wait really? Well I've had luck with mine. I got it around 6 months ago though right before all the issues really started. Hmm hopefully they get it all sorted out. If I wasn't going to possibly give all my rasa kit stuff to a friend, since I'm getting a new pump and res, I might would sell my WORKING pump on here .
