Set your offset by the highest VID, 1.41. If you think 1.455v will work, 1.455-1.41=.045.

Exactly, but the problem, if I can finally explain it as I want haha, is that the load VID STAYS @ 1.38XX until right before it decides to be unstable @ load, THEN it spikes up for the ~10s of stability before a BSOD. It isnt a consistant VID at load, that is what the major issue is. It randomly increased after being @ load for a period of time (over 2m normally). So it will be immediately unstable with 1.38xx + .045.

All I can say is start at .045 and keep adding to that until it's stable. If you can't get it stable with the voltages you like then you might be better off not using offset since you do have a bit of a swing. Just keep an OC profile for say 4.8GHz using offset for 24/7 use and another profile for 5.0GHz (no offset) for benching.

Yeah, alternatively I can just stop trying to make 5.0 24/7 stable. But I like the challenge. I just don't like random voltage issues biggrin.gif

I'm not about to write an essay on my phone. And your assumption that llc doesn't change with a higher frequency is wrong. If you could theoretically overclock your chip to 6 GHz you would see your vcore spike be even higher.

EDIT- vid and vcore actually are the same thing. Vcore is a more accurate description but they are still the same.

Ha. Thank you. Try using manual. Find the exact vcore you need. Then go to offset and get it to your stable Voltage. If its spicking higher than you want the use a lower setting for LLC and you wont spike as high.

If not, maybe your chip doesn't want to do 5ghz.
