I have overclocked my E6500 from default 2.93 to 3.66 with hardcore way since I am using intel motherboard. I enable the power saving, is it ok?

Not too versed in overclocking but I have overclocked my E6600 and I doubt keeping it power saving mode is doing you any favors. I would recommend to keep it on the highest power setting with an overclock.

It's your call. When I OC amd chips, I leave the powersaving feature off because it messes with the stability.

If your primary concern is power saving then I dont recomend overclocking at all.

If you want speed and do decide to overclock then you should leave power saving features etc off as it will limit your overclcok and make it more unstable.

You're better off just upgrading to a newer CPU if you care about higher performance and lower power usage.
