hey i have a strict 1000$ budget and want some ideas for an intel gaming rig i wanna do sli really bad any build suggestions?

in gaming 2500k = 2600 the only time the 2600 will really benefit is in multi threaded applications. Save the 100 bucks and go i5 2500k. then you have an extra 100 to put towards sli.

Yeah don't get 2600k unless you are doing highly threaded task such as encoding and such.. stick with 2500k for gaming

Yes, an i5 and i7 will be eqivent in games(since games don't utilise HT), high performance in games is down to the gpu.

600T is fine for SLI.
